Germany announces first names! Besides Blink-182, Rock im Park & Rock am Ring will also welcome The Prodigy, Bring Me The Horizon and Evanescence

Next year's edition of the German sister festivals Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring has revealed its first names. The festivals will take place over the weekend of June 4–6, 2027 – Rock Im Park at Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg, while Rock Am Ring will once again take place at the Nürburgring race track.
The dates were announced at the end of last year's festival, together with the first name – Blink 182. Now, in mid-September, the first batch of artists set to appear at the two German festivals next year has been added.
The currently announced names include Falling In Riverse, Billy Tallent, The Prodigy, Turnstile, Die Toten Hosen, Fait No More, Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Evanescence, Beartooth, Poppy, Simple Plan, Bullet For My Valentine, and Lorna Shore.
Given that the Czech festival Rock For People has also managed to secure an appearance by legendary punk rockers Blink 182 for next year's edition, the festival dates were moved to the same period (June 2–5, 2027) because of them. It is therefore quite possible that many of the names appearing at these German festivals could eventually also show up in RFP's first announcement or in their traditional annual Advent calendar, before later appearing at the festival site at Hradec Králové Airport.
