Futuristic Rock Blitz Union Storm Into Brno: The Band Brings Its New Show

04/09/2026

The Blitz Union formation, which released their new album Evolution earlier this year, will perform on October 10 at Metro Music Bar in Brno. It will be a significant milestone for the band, as this will be their first-ever full-scale concert show in Brno.

Although the group have been active since 2019, Czech listeners may paradoxically know them better from stages abroad. Blitz Union primarily perform across Western Europe, and in Germany they have appeared as support for bands such as Oomph! and Lord of the Lost. As part of their current tour supporting the new record, however, they have chosen Brno as their only Czech stop.

"After four years of putting on events exclusively in Prague, it was time to venture further and settle into another city – Brno was the obvious choice," explains the band's frontman Mark Blitz, whom you may also know by his nickname MJ from the second season of the psychological detective TV game show Zrádci.

Visitors to the Brno show can look forward to an audiovisual experience featuring a meticulously crafted stage aesthetic and a packed setlist. Alongside the latest material from Evolution, the band will also bring out their tried-and-tested club anthems, including tracks such as Plastic, Hotel India Victoria and Revolution.

Tickets for the Brno premiere are already on sale. The best-priced tickets are available through the GoOut presale network or directly via the band's official website at www.blitzunion.com.
