Front Line Fest Open Air 2026 will bring Italian Hideous Divinity and the best of the Czech metal scene to Špilberk

On Saturday, July 25, 2026, the 3rd edition of Front Line Fest Open Air will take place in the unique setting of the summer cinema at Špilberk Castle. The event, which has built a strong reputation among fans of heavy music during its first two years, will this year offer its most ambitious program yet, featuring bands from Italy, Romania, Austria and the Czech Republic.

The headliner of this year's edition will be Hideous Divinity, one of today's most respected European death metal bands. The Italian masters of technical death metal will bring an energetic live show to Špilberk, supported by material from their acclaimed studio albums.

The international line-up will be rounded out by Romania's Machiavellian God, who combine blackened death metal with atmospheric elements inspired by Balkan history and mythology, and Austria's Vermocracy, representatives of the modern European death metal scene.

The domestic scene will be represented by the organizing band Vanguard, along with Refore, Space Hamster, Swept Into Decay, We The Gods and Liquid Jesus. Visitors can look forward to a diverse program spanning the current forms of extreme metal - from technical death metal through metalcore and thrash to groove metal.

The festival will take place against the backdrop of historic Špilberk Castle, whose summer cinema ranks among the most attractive open-air concert venues in the Czech Republic. The combination of an exceptional setting and an international line-up makes FRONT LINE FEST one of this summer's noteworthy metal events.
