From Swinčík to Město Andělů: Rambanbám and ZakázanYovoce Set Stříbro on Fire

On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the punk-rock band zakázanÝovoce brought their current tour to the West Bohemian town of Stříbro, specifically to the local venue Coctail bar Beseda. The tour, sharing its name with their latest album Mezi láskou a nenávistí, follows the release of the record earlier this year.
For this tour, the band selected several guest acts to join them on different stops. While the opening show (covered in a separate report) featured Tragedis, this stop in Stříbro welcomed the West Bohemian ska-punk band Rambanbám. At other dates, fans can also look forward to bands like Jaksi Taksi or Brutální Jahoda.
By around 8 PM, the club was already filling up nicely. At half past eight, the stage lights came on and the fairly large Plzeň-based crew of Rambanbám squeezed onto the stage. They kicked off their set with the single Swinčík, instantly getting the crowd moving. Their performance blended both older and newer tracks, and the band also announced that on Friday, March 27, they would be christening their new album — also titled Swinčík — at Anděl Music Bar. We wish them the best of luck with the release and hope the album brings them plenty of success — and not just "more swinčík." Other songs included Pán koček, Marie (dedicated to all the Maries in the crowd), Ona je nej, and the self-titled Rambanbám. Of course, they also played Copa je tuto, which has become something of an anthem for the people of Plzeň.
After a short break, zakázanÝovoce took the stage, and the atmosphere immediately thickened. The bouncy brass and accordion melodies were replaced by sharper guitar riffs. Their set opened with the title track Mezi láskou a nenávistí. Throughout the performance, the band seamlessly mixed new material with well-known older hits — including Vem si mě, No problém, Zas ráno, Zastávka na znamení, Alkoholka, and Pornostár, all of which had the entire dancing crowd singing along. From the newer material, songs like Drobný nedostatky, Vyprávíme, Miami (introduced with a Bella Ciao intro), Jack & Sally, Nepřestanem snít, and Kateřina were played.
The song Probdělý noci was dedicated to their opening act Rambanbám. The band shared a story about how they first met — supposedly at Yaris's bachelor party — and how they agreed back then that they had to share a stage one day. Clearly, they kept their word. Toward the end of the set, the entire club chanted along during the chorus of Irská "Tulamore, dobré skóre", and the band also briefly touched on the theme of Genocida as a form of human cruelty. During several songs, their technician Martin even joined in on bass.
For the encore, the energized crowd demanded Město Andělů, dedicated to the town of Stříbro, followed by an acoustic version of Nech mě odejít. The applause didn't stop, and the band quickly returned for one final encore — Díky Vám. They also invited fans to their upcoming autumn club tour celebrating the tenth anniversary of this very song, which will include a stop at Divadlo pod Lampou.
A big thank you goes to the band and the venue for a fantastic event that left everyone charged with positive energy.
