FROM ASHES TO NEW look into the mirror: the new album Reflections will be released in April

The American band FROM ASHES TO NEW confirms its strong position on the modern metal scene with the new album Reflections, which will be released on April 17 via the label Better Noise Music. The fifth studio album will feature 12 tracks in which the band further develops its signature blend of alternative metal, heavy riffs, electronics, and rap vocals—this time with even greater confidence and a stronger emphasis on atmosphere.
Following the success of the album Blackout (2023), the band decided not to take the safe route. On the contrary—they scrapped part of the finished material and started over, with a clear goal of creating an album that would sound authentic, powerful, and contemporary. The result is a record that stays true to their roots while pushing the sound of FROM ASHES TO NEW deeper into modern alt-metal territory.
Lyrically, Reflections revolves around inner conflicts, the darker sides of personality, and the reality of today's world. The band does not shy away from uncomfortable topics and openly reflects pressure, uncertainty, and personal downfalls. A standout moment on the album is the track "Villain," which flips the perspective of a toxic relationship and reveals the allure of chaos, danger, and forbidden emotions.
Among the already released tracks are "Drag Me," which made its way into radio rotation, and the uncompromising "New Disease." Both clearly indicated the direction the band is taking on the new album—heavier, darker, and more self-assured than ever before.
Reflections will be released in several physical formats, including various vinyl editions, and confirms that FROM ASHES TO NEW rank among the most prominent names of the current generation of modern metal.
