Equilibrium are coming with a new era: the album "Equinox"

In a world full of tension and unrest, German band Equilibrium is once again bringing music that connects and empowers people. After a long hiatus, they return with their new album "Equinox", which they describe as their most important work to date.

Founding member René Berthiaume and artist and musician Jessica Rösch together shape the new face of the band. They are joined by new singer Fabian Getto, who brings fresh energy. "Equinox" combines characteristic Equilibrium techniques with modern electronics and truly monumental melodies. Songs like "Gnosis", the melodically sharper "Bloodwood", or the epic "Earth Tongue", "Legends" and "Nexus" show the band in their most confident form to date.

René says that the path to this album was not easy: "It is already difficult for us to describe the style in one word. After so many years, we wanted a record that really means something."

They took the recording process into their own hands, and several guests – such as former Eluveitie violinist Shir-Ran Yinon and members of Heidevolk – added a special atmosphere to some of the songs. The final sound was provided by multi-instrumentalist Danny McCook.

The visual aspect also plays a crucial role. The album cover was created by Jessica by hand, without digital tricks or artificial intelligence, as the band wants to keep their work as authentic as possible.

"Equinox" presents Equilibrium in a new strength – modern, melodic, energetic, and yet rooted in their typical, folklore-inspired atmosphere.
