EPICA announces the arrival of Avatar and embarks on the Arcane Dimensions Tour

Symphonic titans EPICA are back with another hit – the new single "Avatar – The Final Incarnation –". The new single opens the gates to the final incarnation, whose mission is to cleanse the world of injustice and restore balance. The explosive song is accompanied by a visualiser built on breathtaking graphics from the upcoming EPICA Oracle Card Set, which is released worldwide on January 7th.

Mark Jansen explains the idea behind the song: 

"In Hindu philosophy, Kalki represents the last avatar, who restores order at the end of the age. Liberation from endless cycles through self-realization, detachment from desires and inner transformation are themes that speak very strongly to me. 'Avatar' is a musical journey towards this liberation for me."

Simone Simons adds: 

"We can't wait to kick off our European tour. The energy of the fans is the absolute heart of the whole mission for us – and this new single will definitely set you up for the journey."

From January to March, Epica, together with Amaranthe and Charlotte Wessels' The Obsession project, will embark on the European tour EPICA – The Arcane Dimensions Tour 2026, which is one of the strongest metal packages of the next concert season. And of course, it will not miss Czech fans.

And because EPICA always says that "more is more", the luxurious Aspiral Oracle boxset will also be released on January 7th - a 12-piece oracle set (each card corresponds to one song + a special card "The Map"), a detailed manual and an original incense burner. The entire set was designed and created by Hedi Xandt, the author of Aspiral's visual identity. It is a collector's gem that will open up the deeper meaning of individual songs to fans and can also serve as a personal guide.
