Tourslayer Europe 2025 in Zlín: Dwarves, steel and energy

On Saturday, October 4th, the Masters of Rock café in Zlín once again sounded the notes of metal. And what a metal. After two years, the Italian dwarves Wind Rose returned to the Czech Republic as part of their Trollslayer tour, together with the German Orden Ogan and Angus McSix with their international lineup.
It all started at half past seven, when Angus McSix ran onto the stage, led by Sam Nyman (Manimal), who this year passed the baton, or rather Sixcalibur, to Thomas Winkler. This year, he decided to devote more time to his family. In addition, guitarist Jasmin Pabst shone on stage as the Dwarf. None of these changes hurt the band. On the contrary, the band got the crowd fired up right from the start with the song "6666" where they showed that they are just as great, maybe even #onebetter, than before. Songs such as "Master of the Universe", "Laser Shooting Dinosaur", which also appeared on stage, or their latest single "Fire of Yore" were played.
Next up were power metallers Orden Ogan. Even after years, they showed once again that they can still get a full club going. They played classics like "Come with Me (to the Other Side)", "Things We Believe In" or "F.E.V.E.R", but also newer songs like "Dawn of the AI" and "Order of Fear", which also caught on under the name "Order of Beer". In fact, beer was also the theme of their merch and as it turned out during the concert - shouting "beer" instead of "fear" is easier. Singer Sebastian Levermann perfectly controlled the crowd and before the song "Gunman" he asked everyone to record the song and publish it online, because in his words "We suck at social media so we need your help."
And then came what everyone had been waiting for impatiently – Wind Rose. Suddenly, there were no fans in the club, but a whole army of dwarves with pickaxes and they really got it going. From "Dance of Axes", through "Mine Mine Mine", to "Gates of Ekrund" and "Together We Rise", Francesco Cavalieri entertained everyone present with a smile on his face. The song "Trollslayer", which shares the name not only with the latest album, but also with the entire tour, was also heard for the first time. But what surprised in the best sense of the word was the tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, when Francesco came on stage with Ozzy's typical round glasses and beautifully sang "Shot in the Dark". The whole evening was then concluded with an internet viral and a cover of "Diggi Diggi Hole" and of course the rocking "Rock and Stone".
In short, it was an evening full of energy, great music and fun. Bands that simply don't take themselves too seriously are simply a joy to see. A huge THANK YOU to both Wind Rose and Orden Ogan and Angus McSix, who came to the Czech Republic again and brought a performance that you won't forget. Thanks to the bands for their great performance and energy - it was great! Big thanks to you too, who arrived and created an amazing atmosphere. And of course, thanks to everyone who participated in the organization. It was great, we look forward to the next time!
