Rock beauties Nova Twins set the Rock Café on fire

Nova Twins is a girl rock duo that is definitely not our first time. Last time they had the whole afternoon "Fat Lady" at Rock For People 2023. And after this absolutely great and dynamic show, these dragons are returning to the Czech Republic again on September 25, 2025. This time they have headed to a slightly smaller venue, but it seems that Prague's Rock Café is ideal for their performance.

They are rockers from London, but their roots are almost everywhere. The band consists of singer and guitarist  Amy Love, of Iranian-Nigerian origin, and bassist Georgie South, who has Jamaican-Australian roots. They are also accompanied by a drummer for performances.

The stage at Rock Café was decorated in white, with white roses. This was probably meant to express a quiet innocence, which the audience didn't quite get. They started the performance with the song Black Roses, which completely contrasted with the entire performance. Their clothes were beautifully coordinated with the colors on the stage, but they definitely didn't seem innocent.

People enjoyed the performance, singing along with the band. Occasionally, moshpits appeared in the crowd, or there were fans who jumped from the stage into the crowd. But towards the end, the rockers themselves headed straight to the cauldron.

New and older songs were performed, fast and slow. The singer also showed off her high vocal range (e.g. in the song Humingbird). We could hear songs like Cleopatra, Piranha, N.O.V.A. or the well-known Monsters. The song Glory was included at the very end.

We are happy that the band has arrived again to meet the local fans. And we would like to thank the organizers for a great event, the atmosphere in the club was incredible.
