METAL/CORE Conclusion: Radim Korbel and PORTA INFERI say goodbye to the tour!

The metal band PORTA INFERI from Nový Jičín has to deal with an unexpected personnel shake-up. On October 15, 2025, it was announced that singer Radim Korbel was leaving after eight years together. The reason for the departure, which affected the entire community, is burnout. In a statement, the singer openly admitted that music had ceased to be a source of pleasure for him, which was a decisive factor for his break.


Radim Korbel joined the band in 2018 and his arrival was a catalyst for a new direction and success. His distinctive singing voice and stage presence made him a key figure in PORTA INFERI.


Although Radim and the band are parting ways, fans will get one more chance. The farewell tour will take place in the fall, when PORTA INFERI will hit the road as part of the METAL/CORE tour with Hand Grenade. The last show with Radim Korbel is scheduled for December 6, 2025, when the final concert will take place in Ostrava, thus closing an entire era

PORTA INFERI are not giving up and are already intensively searching for a new frontman who can continue Radim's legacy and at the same time enrich the band with their own signature. Even though the end of this stage is difficult for the fans, the band is optimistic about the next one to follow on from this successful one. The farewell tour is the last chance to pay tribute to Radim Korbel - don't miss it!
