ELECTRIC CALLBOY are heading to Prague! They’ll unleash their show at the O2 arena in February

Prague can get ready for a massive dose of electronics, heavy riffs, breakdowns, dance beats and complete concert madness. German ELECTRIC CALLBOY are returning to the Czech Republic, and this time they are heading straight for Prague's O2 arena. On Wednesday, February 24, 2027, they will bring their monumental show to the Czech capital as part of the TANZNEID WORLD TOUR. The concert is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.

If there is one band that has perfectly demonstrated over the past few years that heavy music does not have to be bound by any rules, it is ELECTRIC CALLBOY. On paper, their recipe for success might sound a little crazy – metalcore, electronic music, pop melodies, eurodance, humour and visual extravagance. In their hands, however, this combination works with complete naturalness.

And it works even more powerfully live than it does on studio recordings.

From Hypa Hypa to TANZNEID

The rise of ELECTRIC CALLBOY among the most prominent names on today's heavy music scene truly gained momentum thanks to tracks such as Hypa Hypa, We Got The Moves and Pump It. The subsequent album TEKKNO confirmed that this was far more than just a short-lived internet phenomenon. The record reached number one on the German album chart, and the band took it on an extensive world tour. According to the band's official profile, more than 200,000 tickets were sold during the TEKKNO World Tour.

But their rise was far from over.

Another major chapter began with their collaboration with Japanese band BABYMETAL on the track RATATATA. The meeting of two musical worlds that, at first glance, might seem completely insane turned out to be exactly the kind of controlled chaos in which ELECTRIC CALLBOY feel most at home.

More tracks followed, including Elevator Operator, the darker Revery and a cover of Still Waiting by Sum 41. The band also joined forces with The Offspring on Let The Good Times Roll. All of these steps gradually pointed towards another major chapter in the band's history.

A new era called TANZNEID

On August 7, 2026, ELECTRIC CALLBOY released their seventh studio album, TANZNEID. The record continues exactly where the band have found their greatest strength in recent years – somewhere between metal and dance music, between brutal breakdowns and choruses that get stuck in your head after just one listen.

The album includes the title track TANZNEID, the collaboration RATATATA with BABYMETAL, Hypercharged, Elevator Operator, Heartclub, The Savior, Revery, the cover of Still Waiting and the collaboration Let The Good Times Roll.

The new album is also behind the name of the band's current world tour. The TANZNEID WORLD TOUR is set to represent the biggest and most ambitious arena production ELECTRIC CALLBOY have ever created – and Prague will be part of it.

When a metal concert feels like a giant rave

An ELECTRIC CALLBOY concert is not simply about turning up, playing a set and leaving the stage.

The band build their shows around enormous energy, interaction with the audience, spectacular lighting, electronic sections and moments when a metal mosh pit can transform into a gigantic dance floor within seconds. Older live favourites such as Hypa Hypa, Pump It and We Got The Moves have long since become tracks that need absolutely no encouragement to send the crowd into motion.

Add newer material, huge production, electronic beats, crushing guitar breakdowns and the band's characteristic humour, and you get one of those live events that fans of modern heavy music should make sure to highlight in their calendars.

Because if there is one thing ELECTRIC CALLBOY have repeatedly proven over the past few years, it is that their music may be crazy, exaggerated and sometimes completely absurd – but that is exactly why it works.
