DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG unleash a media offensive: the “Propaganda” video is out

DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG are sticking to the plan and supplying fans with new material with iron regularity. With another month comes another visual strike from the album Babylon — this time in the form of a video for one of the wildest tracks on the record, "Propaganda."

The album was released on October 3, 2025 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM), and it's already clear that this is no nostalgic joyride, but full-blooded heavy metal with razor-sharp edges. "Propaganda" ranks among the most energetic moments on the record, and the video amplifies its uncompromising forward drive even further.

The song kicks off with an aggressive guitar assault and relentless double bass that doesn't give the listener a single second to breathe. A massive riff follows, piling on peak after peak — Udo Dirkschneider and Peter Baltes deliver powerful multi-layered vocals, alternating with twin-guitar runs, while the chorus bluntly spits out the media-critical message of the lyrics.

A strong mark is also left by Manuela "Ella" Bibert, who brings not only solo vocal parts to the track but also a fierce, raw Hammond organ performance. Just when it seems impossible to cram any more energy into a single song, a hymn-like vocal section arrives, followed by a guitar solo and a final harmonic shootout between guitar and organ.

The '70s and '80s send their regards — but certainly not in a dusty form. DIRKSCHNEIDER & THE OLD GANG prove that classic heavy metal can sound contemporary, hard, and dangerous without losing its identity. "Propaganda" is living proof of that.
