Deloraine are dropping a new video for „Lada“, shot in the iconic medieval film sets of Barrandov Studios

The Czech pagan fantasy folk band Deloraine sends out their song Lada into the world, along with the radiant Slavic goddess of spring, love, and life herself.

In the medieval Barrandov Studios, a visually grand, cinematic story was created, unfolding within the sets of an ancient city. Filming took place in April 2025 with the participation of more than a hundred costumed extras. The video's premiere took place on April 10, 2026, both online and in the magical atmosphere of the medieval Witcher-inspired festival Blavicon in Tábor.

The first spark announcing Lada's arrival was the release of the song's English version. It was also created for the medieval strategy game The Guild – Europa 1410 by Gnomon Studio, for which Deloraine simultaneously filmed a trailer directly at Barrandov.

The new music video is conceived as a short, emotionally charged film. Viewers will see the playful and dazzlingly beautiful goddess Lada dancing among blooming flowers, as well as a gripping story of love and passion brutally interrupted by a ruthless Inquisition. The fully built medieval city set, brought to life exclusively for this project, gives the story a sweeping cinematic depth and an almost breathtaking atmosphere.

Once again, Deloraine were supported by their exceptional fan community. From it emerged a crowd of more than a hundred extras, all arriving in their own original, carefully crafted costumes.

"Creating under such conditions was a challenge in the most beautiful sense of the word. We are deeply grateful to have fans around us who get carried away by our enthusiasm and return that energy not only at concerts but also during filming itself," the band shares. "We believe this narrative-driven video, with its dynamics, emotion, and pace, will not disappoint our listeners."

The visual side of the project was handled by the film studio Epicture, s. r. o., with whom Deloraine have been collaborating for many years—previously on videos such as Yennefer (2018), Les kostí (2021), and Ragnarok (2022). The costumes for the band members were created by talented costume designers Victoria Hofferson and Dagmar Fajtová, who have long been shaping their distinctive stage wardrobe.
