Czech Rock Legends TURBO Celebrate 45 Years with New Album Časem bloudím, Featuring KISS Guitarist Tommy Thayer

17/10/2026

TURBO, one of the most influential bands on the Czech rock scene, is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year. To mark this significant milestone, the band has released a brand-new studio album titled Časem bloudím. The record was released on October 9, 2026, on both CD and vinyl. The album's release is accompanied by a title-track single and a brand-new music video.

Founded in 1981, TURBO has become an integral part of Czech rock history, leaving a lasting impression on generations of listeners with countless hits, including unforgettable songs such as Hráč, Chtěl jsem mít, Díky, já jdu dál and Krásným dívkám. With their new album, the band proves that even after more than four decades on the music scene, they still have plenty to offer their fans.

One of the biggest surprises on Časem bloudím is a collaboration with Tommy Thayer, the longtime guitarist of legendary American rock band KISS. Thayer composed both the music and lyrics for the English-language track Time of My Life and also contributed to its Czech version, Vidím tu lásky svý stát, featuring lyrics written by Ladislav Vostárek. Another notable guest on the album is Slovak singer Peter Cmorik, who joined the band to record the song O životě víme svý.

The album features a total of eleven tracks, combining mature rock arrangements with lyrics reflecting life experiences. Several well-known songwriters and musicians contributed to the record, including Karel Mecner, Petr Šiška, Vladimír Kočandrle, Vladimír Mertlík, Petr Šťastný and Ivan Blažek.

Autumn 45th Anniversary Tour and Album Launch Shows

To support the release, TURBO is embarking on an extensive autumn tour titled 45 LET KAPELY (45 Years of the Band), with special album launch celebrations scheduled for selected dates.

The tour kicked off on October 15 in Olomouc and will continue across the Czech Republic and Slovakia until the end of 2026.
