Czech rock legends Turbo celebrate 45 years with new album Časem bloudím, featuring a contribution from KISS guitarist Tommy Thayer

The band Turbo, one of the most influential acts on the Czech rock scene, is celebrating 45 years together this year. To mark this significant milestone, they have treated their fans to a brand-new studio album entitled Časem bloudím. The record was released on 9 October 2026, on both CD and vinyl. The album's release is accompanied by the title-track single, for which the band has also unveiled a new music video.

Founded in 1981, Turbo are an integral part of Czech rock history and have secured their place in listeners' hearts with countless hits, including the unforgettable Hráč, Chtěl jsem mít, Díky, já jdu dál and Krásným dívkám. With their new album, the band prove that even after more than four decades on the music scene, they still have plenty to offer their fans.

One of the biggest surprises on Časem bloudím is the collaboration with Tommy Thayer, long-time guitarist of legendary American band KISS. Thayer wrote both the music and lyrics for Time of My Life, a track performed in English, and also contributed to its Czech-language counterpart, Vidím tu lásky svý stát, with lyrics by Ladislav Vostárek. Another notable guest on the album is Slovak singer Peter Cmorik, who recorded the song O životě víme svý with the band.

The album features eleven tracks, showcasing mature rock arrangements and lyrics that reflect on life's experiences. A number of well-known names from the music industry contributed to the record, including Karel Mecner, Petr Šiška, Vladimír Kočandrle, Vladimír Mertlík, Petr Šťastný and Ivan Blažek.

The band will support the album's release with an extensive autumn tour entitled 45 LET KAPELY, which will also feature album launch events at selected stops. The tour kicks off on 15 October in Olomouc and will continue across the Czech Republic and Slovakia until the end of 2026.
