Civilní Obrana are back with a new music video for their most personal single “Spolu napořád”, while also teasing their biggest show yet at the Grand Hall of Prague’s Lucerna

Czech rock band Civilní Obrana have released a new music video for their single "Spolu napořád". Taken from their latest album genCO, the track celebrates the 20-year bond between the members of "Civilka" and also serves as an invitation to the biggest milestone in the band's history so far – a headline show at the Grand Hall of Prague's Lucerna, scheduled for November 14, 2026.
"Spolu napořád" is an honest confession about a friendship that has survived two decades in the music business. The lyrics, written by longtime collaborator Lukáš Dvořáček, capture the chemistry at the core of the band with striking clarity.
"Spolu napořád, we love each other, and when it matters, we give it everything we've got. We're like a family, watching each other's backs," goes the chorus of a song produced under the guidance of Jan Steinsdörfer and Lukáš Pavlík from Chinaski.
The new video is not a fictional storyline, but rather an authentic documentary-style piece. Fans will see a selection of highlights from the band's successful tour last year – backstage moments, powerful live performances, endless hours on the road, and above all, close contact with their fans.
"Over the past twenty years we've hit rock bottom more than once, but we always managed to pull together and move forward. This video is a thank-you to everyone who's been in this with us – the guys in the band and the people in front of the stage," the band says.
The road to Lucerna: the peak of a 20-year journey
Everything now leads to one date. On November 14, 2026, Civilní Obrana will take the stage at the Grand Hall of Prague's Lucerna. It will be their biggest, most important, and most technically ambitious show to date. The night celebrating 20 years of "Civilka" will also feature a lineup of special guests who have been part of their journey along the way.
