Bigger Than You Think! Simple Plan Continue Their Quarter-Century Journey in Prague

Canadian pop-punk giants Simple Plan, one of the most influential bands of the pop-punk era, are returning to the Czech Republic. A year after appearing at Prague's Sportovní hala Fortuna as special guests of American rockers The Offspring, the band are heading back to the country. This time, they will take over the O2 Universum.

The band are still celebrating 25 years on the music scene, with the two-year anniversary celebrations having kicked off in 2024. As part of the festivities, they released the documentary film Simple Plan: The Kids In The Crowd in 2025, created in collaboration with Amazon Prime Video, where it is also available to watch. At the time, the band had this to say: "This film is the centerpiece of our 25th anniversary as a band and is probably the most ambitious and special project we've ever worked on. At such an important point in our career, it felt like the perfect time to look back at everything we've been through and give our fans an inside look at our lives – both on the road and at home. We gave director Didier Charette unprecedented access to our band, our archives and our complete trust to tell our story. He travelled with us for an entire year and, throughout the process, truly captured who we are both as people and as a band. We are incredibly proud of this film."

Last year, they also announced the Bigger Than You Think! Tour. The first North American leg took place later that year, after which the tour was put on hold as the band joined The Offspring as special guests.

This year, they are back on the Bigger Than You Think! tour. After another North American leg over the summer, the band will head to Europe in October before taking the tour to Asia and Australia in November and December.

During the European leg, which brings them to the Czech Republic on October 18, 2026, they will be joined by British pop-punk outfit Neck Deep. This won't be the first time the two bands have shared a stage, and Neck Deep are already a familiar name to Czech fans. They have previously appeared at the Rock for People festival and most recently played here as part of the final concert of Sum 41 in November 2024.
