BEARTOOTH open a new chapter: Pure Ecstasy arrives this August

American modern rock/metalcore force BEARTOOTH are back with a brand new record. The band, led by frontman Caleb Shomo, have announced their sixth studio album, titled Pure Ecstasy, which will be released on August 28, 2026, via Fearless Records. For the band, this marks not only another major milestone in their discography, but also their first album released through this label.
Alongside the album announcement, BEARTOOTH have also shared the title track, Pure Ecstasy, which opens the record. From the very first seconds, it is clear that the band have no intention of standing still. The new song works with the typical urgency, heavy riffs and emotions that have long been a defining trademark of BEARTOOTH. This time, however, it feels even more open, raw and personal.
With the new material, Caleb Shomo once again confirms that BEARTOOTH are not just a band built on energy and stadium sized choruses. Their strength has always been rooted primarily in their ability to transform inner chaos, anxiety, pain and personal battles into music with a tremendous power to hit listeners directly. According to the available information, Pure Ecstasy continues along this path, while also pushing it further toward greater openness, collaboration and musical ambition.
The album will feature a total of eleven tracks. The title song itself already shows that the new era of BEARTOOTH will not be only about darkness, but also about searching for a certain kind of freedom, balance and acceptance of all the extremes that life brings. In this sense, the band follow up on their successful 2023 album The Surface, which pushed BEARTOOTH even higher and brought them a strong response across the rock scene.
Another interesting fact is that Pure Ecstasy was created with greater creative involvement from other musicians than before. Caleb Shomo had long been the main driving force behind the band, but this time the other members of the line-up were given a more significant space. Drummer Connor Denis, for example, contributed to the record and recorded drums at NRG Recording Studios. Names such as Jordan Fish, known among other things for his work with Bring Me The Horizon, Poppy and Architects, also took part in the creative process.
Throughout their career, BEARTOOTH have managed to grow from Caleb Shomo's personal project into one of the most prominent bands on the modern heavy scene. From songs such as In Between and Hated to their more recent material, their music has been built on strong emotions, honesty and the ability to combine aggressive energy with a catchiness that works both in clubs and on major stages.
Pure Ecstasy therefore feels like another important step forward. Not as a departure from what fans love about BEARTOOTH, but as a natural expansion of their world. The new album promises heaviness, melody, personal expression and huge choruses exactly the qualities that have made BEARTOOTH a band capable of reaching both metalcore fans and modern rock listeners.
If the title track indicates the direction of the whole album, then there is definitely a lot to look forward to at the end of August. BEARTOOTH once again prove that even chaos, pain and uncertainty can be turned into music powerful enough to move crowds.
