BABYMETAL celebrate 15 years: Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!! re-recorded and still provocative

BABYMETAL are celebrating 15 years of existence and once again proving that they don't care much about the boundaries and dogmas of the metal scene. To mark the anniversary, the band has released a newly recorded version of Headbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!, one of their very first and now iconic songs from 2011.

The new version stays true to the original energy, frantic tempo, and trademark kawaii-metal excess, while at the same time reflecting the band's current form. A notable refresh comes from the growls of the newest member, Momometal, which add sharper edges to the track and confirm that BABYMETAL are not afraid to go heavier even after fifteen years.

Alongside the track, a new music video has been released, this time set in a darker, slightly bizarre environment of an abandoned arcade. The contrast between cute aesthetics and an unsettling atmosphere is exactly what the band has been using for years to provoke, entertain, and divide the metal scene.

The anniversary is also accompanied by an ultra-limited CD, which will first be available at a special pop-up event in Tokyo and later at the January LEGEND – METAL FORTH concerts at Saitama Super Arena. Collectors can look forward to exclusive postcards and strictly limited merchandise editions.
