AVATAR unleash a dark carnival: Zlín awaits a merciless metal night

Metal provocateurs AVATAR will return to the Czech Republic in March 2026, and this time they've set their sights on Zlín. On March 10, 2026, Zlín's DATART Sports Hall will transform into a place where metal, theater, and absolute chaos collide. The Swedish five-piece arrive with a new album and promise a show that will go even further than anything they've done before.

Frontman Johannes Eckerström is clear about it:
"We're heavily addicted. Despite all the praise, we feel like we're only at the beginning. This tour is meant to surpass everything we've ever done. It's not just about size – everything has to be better than ever before. This is what we live for."

And that's exactly what AVATAR deliver. A dark metal circus where crushing riffs meet theatricality, madness, and meticulous visual presentation. Alongside Eckerström will be his long-time comrades John Alfredsson, Jonas Jarlsby, Henrik Sandelin, and Tim Öhrström. The setlist will include both new material and older fan favorites, and the band promises one of the biggest shows of their more than 25-year career.

Special guests will include Alien Weaponry from New Zealand, presenting their brand-new album Te Rā, as well as Norwegian death-jazz force Agabas, who will ensure a properly unsettling start to the evening.

If you want to experience AVATAR in their darkest, loudest, and most unhinged form, Zlín is the place you need to be.
