ARCHEOFEST 2026 WILL BRING FIVE BANDS AND TRUE UNDERGROUND METAL TO LOŠTICE

25/07/2026

Following a successful warm-up edition, the organisers are preparing the first official ArcheoFest. The metal event will take place on Saturday, 29 August 2026, in the grounds next to the swimming pool in Loštice. Five bands from the Czech and Slovak underground scenes will appear on one stage during the evening.

The warm-up edition of the festival brought Relikvie, Respect and Archeonic to . The event showed that heavy music has a loyal audience in the region and that fans can create a great atmosphere even at a smaller festival. The organisers therefore decided to continue and take ArcheoFest into its first full official year.

Supporting underground bands remains the main idea behind the festival. ArcheoFest is not intended to become a huge event filled with an anonymous crowd, but rather a meeting place for musicians and fans who share a passion for heavy music. The smaller venue by the swimming pool will offer close contact with the bands and the kind of atmosphere that makes underground shows so distinctive.

The line-up for the first official edition will be varied. Progressive metal, metal crossover, groove metal and death metal will all meet during a single evening. Each of the five bands will bring its own approach to heavy music, meaning that ArcheoFest will offer much more than several similar-sounding sets.

Personal Signet come from Mohelnice and will represent progressive metal on the bill. As an almost local act, they will bring music combining heavier passages with a more elaborate and adventurous approach to songwriting.

Mortify from the Jeseník area will bring metal crossover to the festival. Their appearance will add a more open and genre-blending sound to the programme, creating a contrast with the death metal acts scheduled for later in the evening.

Antares will travel from Martin in Slovakia. They will be the only international act at this year's ArcheoFest and will represent death metal in Loštice. Their performance will add another dose of heaviness while also highlighting the Czech-Slovak character of the event.

Archeonic from Mohelnice have been connected with the festival from the very beginning. They performed at the warm-up edition and will also return for the first official year. Their groove metal is built on powerful riffs, rhythmic force and an energy that works best directly in front of the stage.

Soul Massacre from Havířov will complete the line-up with another serving of death metal. The fifth band on the bill will bring direct, uncompromising heaviness to Loštice and help close the programme in the spirit of a genuine underground metal night.

ArcheoFest will once again take place in a small and welcoming venue next to the swimming pool in Loštice. Holding the event away from large halls and sprawling festival sites gives it a distinctive character. Visitors will be close to the performers, and the entire evening will retain an informal and friendly atmosphere.

The local bar will serve beer as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The organisers also expect food to be available, giving fans everything they need during the several-hour programme.

For an admission price of CZK 199, visitors will get five concerts and an end-of-summer evening filled with heavy riffs. ArcheoFest aims to build on its successful warm-up edition and once again show that the regional underground scene is very much alive. Anyone who prefers smaller events, close proximity to the stage and bands performing with genuine passion should mark the final Saturday of August in their calendar.
