Anette Olzon returns to Europe after more than a decade. In Prague, the NIGHTWISH era with Dark Passion Play and Imaginaerum will be heard again.

For fans of symphonic metal, this is an event more than ten years in the making. Anette Olzon is returning to European stages and, for the first time since 2012, will embark on a tour across the Old Continent. The concert series will be exclusive, time-limited, and focused solely on the albums she recorded with NIGHTWISH — Dark Passion Play (2007) and Imaginaerum (2011). And there will be surprises as well.

The tour promises a powerful dose of nostalgia and energy. Key songs such as "Amaranth," "Bye Bye Beautiful," "Storytime," and the monumental "The Poet and the Pendulum" will be performed live. The real attraction, however, is the fact that several songs from this era will be played live in Europe for the very first time — during Anette's time with NIGHTWISH, they never made it onto the concert setlists.

Prague fans will get their chance on August 9, when Anette Olzon arrives in the Czech Republic. It will be one of only a few confirmed shows and a truly exceptional evening for everyone who considers the Dark Passion Play and Imaginaerum period to be one of the most crucial chapters in the history of symphonic metal.

To mark the return, an exclusive pre-sale of tickets has also been launched, running until February 20 (or until capacity is reached). Fans who purchase tickets during this period will receive a limited, numbered postcard personally signed by Anette Olzon. General ticket sales, along with the announcement of additional dates, will begin on March 4.

Anette Olzon already returned to the NIGHTWISH-era songs last autumn during a special tour in Brazil, where she performed this repertoire for the first time as a solo artist. The European tour thus follows the success of those concerts and at the same time closes the circle of a very strong, though often controversially perceived, chapter in metal history.

After leaving NIGHTWISH in 2012, Anette went her own way — she founded THE DARK ELEMENT, collaborated with Russell Allen (ALLEN/OLZON), and released her third solo album Rapture in 2024. Nevertheless, it is the return to the material that wrote her into metal history that evokes the strongest emotions.

August 2026 in Prague will therefore offer not just a concert, but a powerful return of a voice that defined one of the most discussed eras of NIGHTWISH. For symphonic metal fans, a must-see.
