A Summer Send-Off in Style: Rock for People Back2School with Gufrau, Renne Dang and More Will Get Hradec Králové’s Royal Festivities Dancing

That is exactly the aim of the Back2School with RFP programme, which will be a key musical highlight of the official programme of Hradec Králové's Royal Festivities. "We have selected four artists who perfectly combine fresh genre phenomena, radio hits and sold-out live shows," says Luděk Motyčka, director of the organising agency Ameba Production. The team behind the Rock for People festival and the RFP Concerts concert label is joining forces with the University of Hradec Králové and the Hradec Králové Cultural and Educational Company. As part of this year's Royal Festivities, they will transform Velké náměstí into an energetic celebration marking the end of the summer holidays on Friday, 4 September. Back2School will feature leading Czech artists Gufrau, Renne Dang and Naty Hrychová, together with the Hradec Králové-based band Malone. Admission to the entire Back2School event, presented under the Rock for People banner, is free.
For one day, the organising teams behind the Rock for People festival and RFP Concerts will take responsibility for the event's music programme. Their partnership with the City of Hradec Králové, the University of Hradec Králové and HKVS builds on the festival's long-standing roots in the region. Visitors can therefore look forward to first-class festival programming, top-quality sound and the unmistakable atmosphere they know from Park 360. "Rock for People and Hradec Králové are inseparably linked. Following our successful participation in the Christmas markets, we want to bring the festival's energy directly into the city's historic centre once again and give students, as well as all music fans in Hradec Králové, the best possible farewell to the summer holidays," says Rock for People founder Michal Thomes.
Who Can You Look Forward to Seeing at Velké náměstí?
The music programme will bring an energetic and stylistically diverse line-up to the centre of Hradec Králové. The main attraction will be the electro-rap trio Gufrau, winners of the 2025 Anděl Award for Song of the Year for Navždycky blázen, who will bring the untamed pace of nightlife to Hradec Králové. Renne Dang, a Czech Nightingale award winner and, among his many other achievements, a contestant on the reality show Survivor, will deliver a powerful show reaching far beyond rap, together with his biggest hits such as v cizí posteli. Singer Naty Hrychová will bring a strong rock edge and fresh energy. Her rich career has taken her from children's musicals to sharing the stage with Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, as well as performing at Rock for People last year. The local Hradec Králové music scene will be proudly represented by the popular five-piece alternative pop-rock band Malone, known for their catchy single Lolipop.
